Farm & Ranch Insurance Package

Our agency will create a farm package tailored to meet the needs of your specific risk which can include coverage for buildings, equipment, autos, horses and other livestock, hay and other crops.  Our insurers have programs designed to accommodate small acreage gentleman farms, or large breeding, training and boarding operations.

Property Coverage

The right property coverage is of the utmost importance.  We can provide coverage for modest or high value homes and contents, owner occupied and tenant occupied; Barns, arenas, and outbuildings; Farm equipment to include harvesting and non-harvesting, and miscellaneous tack, tools & equipment; Hay in barns or in stacks;  RTVs, ATVs and snowmobiles.  And of course we can insure horses and other livestock. Do you have a special saddle?  We can offer replacement cost coverage!  Do you have valuable jewelry or a gun collection?  We can insure those too!

Liability Coverage

Liability coverage with appropriate limits is at the heart of protecting your valuable assets whether you are engaged in training, breeding, boarding, riding instruction or clinics.  We can also provide liability coverage for farriers.  An umbrella policy can provide an important extra layer of liability protection, and we offer this coverage to all our farm and ranch risks.

Auto Coverage

Farm vehicles, personal autos, livestock haulers, and more can all be included on the auto portion of the farm package policy.  If you own a small farm without farm use vehicles we may be able to save you money by insuring your autos separately on a personal lines policy.  Are you a Classic Car Enthusiast?  We have found that many of our equine clients are, and we have a market for them!

Care, Custody & Control 

Essential coverage for an equestrian risk who boards or trains horses, or has responsibility for horses that belong to others.  Care, Custody and Control provides coverage for an animal while it is in your possession or on your premises.

Cargo Coverage

Nothing stays still for long these days, and cargo coverage will extend coverage to your horses, hay or other covered items while in transit.  Do you haul horses belonging to others?  We can include coverage for them as well. 

Livestock Mortality

Written on a separate policy, Livestock Mortality and Major Medical insurance can provide coverage for full mortality and theft, and medical emergencies including colic.  Coverage can also be extended to include infertility in stallions and barrenness in mares.  Prospective Foal coverage is available too!
